R&E became "The Shirleys" at the end of July at the iconic Halifax Club in Halifax, NS. I have no words to describe how beautifully intricate every part of Robin's wedding outfits were - from the first dress to the last, and the Bella Belle SHOES (scroll to the bottom to see up close just how stunning they were) - no detail was missed.

Mary & Connor's Downtown Halifax Wedding at Agricola St. Brasserie | NS Wedding Photographer
While every wedding I do is special and holds a place in my heart, Mary & Connor's day was just a little bit extra special because Mary and I have known each other since we were just 5 years old! When Mary sent me a message to talk about all things wedding, she knew two things: that her fiance Connor would be there, and so would I. I wouldn't have missed it for the world! Read on to get all the details on their incredible day.

While I’m gearing up for a new season of love (my first wedding is at the end of this month!), I can’t help but reflect on some of last year’s incredible celebrations. Mikayla and Adri's seaside elopement was an absolute favorite that perfectly showcased the sheer beauty of a Nova Scotian backdrop.

Okay guys, It took me a little while to get this one together and that’s because it’s truly one of my all time favourites. Ryan & Celina said their vows at the at the incredible oceanside venue Harbour Mist in Chester, Nova Scotia in August 2021 and every single detail was incredible; the location alone offered a quintessential Nova Scotia backdrop and gorgeous rooms for all of the bridal prep (check out the dress photo below!), and the spectacular team of vendors they chose really brought this wedding to life (listed below). Narrowing these photos down to the ones in this post was a tough task and there’s so much more I would have loved to share, but it’s going to be a long one already!

The concept of a micro wedding, also known as an intimate wedding, has gained popularity in recent years (and truthfully, some of my favorite weddings have been “micro”!). A micro wedding is a small and intimate wedding that typically has less than 50 guests. While many couples choose to have a large and traditional wedding, there are several benefits to having a micro wedding - let’s talk about it!

This week seemed like the perfect time to share Sarah & Shane’s rainy country club wedding from May - they had a little drizzle, but there was nothing that could keep them down!
From the moment we arrived, Sarah was cool and collected about the rain - the only thing that mattered was saying “I do” to her love, surrounded by their favourite people. To be on the safe side, they chose to move the ceremony indoors where the guests could take their seats and watch from the tables.
Luckily, after their ceremony, the rain let up and we were able to step outside for all of the portraits - and we had to include flower dog cutie Zeke! The overcast day gave us great, even lighting and really amplified the lush backdrop we had at the golf course; I’m a girl who loves greenery so I adored this location.
Sarah & Shane’s wedding style was classic and chic; some of my favourite elements were the stunning blush and cream tones in the florals, and the matching denim for all of Sarah’s girls, both perfect for a spring wedding. Scroll through to see some highlights from their big day!

Well hello! It’s been a while since I’ve had a new blog post, but while we are in the swing of another beautiful Nova Scotia wedding season I am reflecting on some of the beautiful celebrations I was able to be a part of last year. Amanda and Brent’s boat club wedding in Head of Jeddore is one; Amanda’s classic style really shined through with her wedding details, with blush bridesmaids dresses, timeless pink and white florals, and sharp black three piece suits for the guys.
This gorgeous waterfront wedding was so full of sentimental moments (scroll through to see the sweetest first look between the bride and her father and brother). After 12 years together, everyone there already felt like family! This was a long-awaited celebration and I am so grateful to have been there to capture it.
