Did you know: golden hour can be just as beautiful in the winter, too? Melissa reached out to me just before a weekend snowfall to book this sweet family session and I am so happy we were able to make it happen! Of course, we had to get a few snaps with their adorable dog Stark too (#crazydoglady, guilty).
It was such a pleasure creating these family portraits for Melissa, Daniel, and cutie pie Harper (who did SO well, even though it was freezing!) at their new home together in Sackville, Nova Scotia. All of these were taken in their own backyard! Winter may be on its way out here in Halifax, but I’ve been enjoying shooting in the snow over the past few months. There’s just something special about that white fluff that makes for some incredible moments!
