Some days, my job doesn’t even feel like work - this was one of those days!
Kristina and Steve are recently engaged, head over heels in love, and a dream to photograph. We did their engagement session at Crystal Crescent Beach, just outside of Halifax, and were graced with a gorgeous sunset to finish off the shoot!
We all know by now what kind of cameras, lenses, and other gear we need to pack in our kit for a wedding day. But what else should you bring? Samantha & Grant’s wedding at Oceanstone Seaside Resort is the perfect example of how beautiful an intimate celebration can be! Every detail was thought of, from the incredible floral installations from Laura at Crocus Designs, local rum from Ironworks and Halifax Distilling Co for toasting, a bowtie for their furry guest Gus, to the gorgeous watercolor place cards for the table.

Morgaine and Justin met me at my favourite Halifax beach (Crystal Crescent) for their shoot, and just as I had hoped, the light was perfect.
