I absolutely love working with Jennifer of Jennifer Murphy Beauty, and when she asked me to do a branding shoot for her, I was honored! We shot these images for her business at the Alexander Keith’s Brewery Building in Halifax, where she has her own studio for you to get glammed up with lashes or makeup (I’ve had both done by Jennie, and let me tell you - she is AMAZING!).

It was such a pleasure creating these family portraits for Melissa, Daniel, and cutie pie Harper (who did SO well, even though it was freezing!) at their new home together in Sackville, Nova Scotia. Allie and Justin’s big day had gone through some major changes before it could happen - including changing the date and venue! They created such an inviting, intimate environment and I loved how cozy and personal it was (I was pretty excited about the relocation - they’re both plant aficionados like me so I was thrilled to get a peek at their collection)! When my mom asked me to take some photos of her, I knew I had to give her the very best experience possible. I enlisted Jennifer Murphy Beauty for glam, rented the Many Hats Studio for a few hours, and picked up a new backdrop for the shoot, all ready for when she finished her hair appointment at Team Orlando Hair Studio. An extra huge thank you to Jennifer for making my mom feel like a superstar! Doesn’t she look absolutely stunning?!
We had so much fun during the session, and I feel incredibly lucky that I could capture some beautiful images of someone I love so much. Here are some of my favourites!
